Option two: Take Dongzhimen Tourist Line Bus
Visitors can also take the Dongzhimen Tourist Line Bus at Bus stop outside Dongzhimen. The bus departs at 8:30 am every day and return at 16:00 pm from Scenic P1 parking lot.

Option three: Take MuBus or ZanBus
In addition, passengers can also take the Mu Bus or Zan Bus to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, and the bus runs at highway. The bus arrives directly at the foot of the Great Wall and you don't need to transfer the ferry bus. The Mu bus departs from 7: 30-8: 00 (circular departure) at East side of Hong Kong macau center (door of Swiss apartment) and returan at drop-off point. Take Subway Line 2 and get off at Dongsishitiao Bridge. Be sure to take Exit C. After coming out, walk 30 meters east along the side of the road. (Mobile positioning: please locate "Swiss apartment"). And the Zan bus departs daily from 8:20 - 8:50 at Subway Line 5 - Heping West Bridge Station Exit B.

Option four: Take Bus No. 916
If you are visiting the Mutianyu great wall during a peak season, it is quite possible to see some other tourists there trying to get taxi to the Mutianyu great wall as well. You could try to share a taxi with them and go Dutch with the taxi bill, in this way, the cost should be about just 10 CNY. Alternatively, you could choose to change to Shayudongtai(沙浴洞台) bus to go to the Mutianyu great wall after you get off at the Huairou Bei Dajie(怀柔北大街). This bus departs every 30 minutes.
