Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Renmin Park, Jinli Old Street

Enjoy your interesting tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is a huge institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda. Sightseeing shuttle bus is included. You will learn the habits and characteristics of Giant and baby pandas, observe them eating bamboos and playing around. Lunch will be arranged as local food at restaurant nearby. After lunch, visit Renmin Park and it is the paradise for local people who addict to dancing, playing mahjong, drinking teas. We will arrange tea break in the park and mahjong lesson if you are interested in. After that enjoy shopping time at Jinli Old Street which is the elegant style of the architectures tells you what Sichuan looks like during the Qing Dynasty.

Take a bullet train to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong Scenic Area

After breakfast, be transferred to the railway station for morning bullet train to Jiuzhaigjou (average altitude at 2930 m). Your Jiuzhaigou tour guide will wait for you at the railway station. Lunch will be served at local restaurant nearby Chuanzhusi Temple. After lunch, go for a half day visit to Huanglong Scenic Area - the fairyland. After the tour, be transferred to the hotel for some well-deserved rest.

Tips: From Nov to Apr the next year, Huanglong Scenic Area may be closed temporarily for tourists due to the weather condition, then you can visit Mouni Valley instead.

Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area. Enjoy your whole day time for the excursion in this fairy land . The generally sightseeing time is 8 hours in this scenic area, including the lunch time in the only restaurant inside the valley. When finish this tour, drive back to the hotel and feel of the rest day.

Jiuzhaigou Valley

Take a bullet train to Chengdu, Free time

Morning at leisure in the hotel and be transferred to Jiuzhaigou railway station for bullet train to Chengdu in the afternoon. Your Chengdu tour guide will wait for you at the railway station and help you to transfer to the hotel. Today is a free day without tours and you can spend your time leisurely at Kuan Zhai Alley, a cultural site consisting of 45 Qing Ming Dynasty style courtyards, modern villas and gardens. Kuan Zhai Alley is also a leisure place for spending your night life in Chengdu.

Jinli Old Street

Drive to Leshan, Leshan Giant Buddha, Drive to Emei

In the morning after breakfast, have a 1.5 hours driving to Mt. Leshan - has the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. Just take a cruise (about 30 min) to have an overview of this mountain and the Leshan Giant Buddha. After that, continue to have a 1 hour driving to Mt. Emei area. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Tips: We arrange a cruise to see Leshan Giant Buddha. While you can also choose to climb Mt. Leshan (1- 2 hours hiking) which is not recommended from us because it is tired and could not get a overview of the Buddha.

Mt. Emei, Drive back to Chengdu

Today you will have a half day tour to do sightseeing in Mt. Emei including a cable car to the Golden Summit. After some stroll on the mountain, get down the mountain then drive back to Chengdu (165 km). Have a rest in hotel in Chengdu or feel free of the rest time.

Entering - 2 Hours Scenic Shuttle Bus to Leidongping - Walk a while to take the cable car - Go up to Golden Summit by cable car - Sightseeing in Golden Summit - Back to the entrance in the same way
